Bob Shebuski turned 30. I took a half day off of work to clean the house, decorate, and make a steak dinner for Bob. For those of you who know us, there isn't steak in the house very often.
After our meal, Bob opened his presents from his mother Gail. New socks! Just what he wanted. Looking around, he said he didn't get everything that he wanted for his birthday. I made mention that, "You got socks. What more could you want?" That's when he looked at me and said a wife would be nice.
After that it was blur for me. I saw him get up and walk around to my side of the table pulling out a little box and he got down on one knee. I can't remember much of what he said or what my answer was. Later he told me that I said "Of Course!" It was a wonderful moment and yes there were tears. We are so excited and I am just beaming and can't stop looking at my diamond. I guess I should feed him steak more often!
It's been a wonderful life with you baby and I can't wait for forever. I love you so much!
