Airman First Class - Garrett B. Meyers

On April 22, 2011 my brother graduated Basic Training from the Airforce as Airman First Class. Since then, he has started his MP training (to be completed in August), has been informed of his station...Italy!!!...and as of yesterday he found out that he was awared one of the four Rope positions for his flight. A Rope is a leadership position of the flight. There are about 50 people in his flight....Congrats GBM!

Big Chill, December 2010

For Bob's 31st Birthday, I surprised him by taking him to the first ever, Big Chill hockey game with Michigan against Michigan State. Michigan beat Michigan State 5-1. We had a great tailgate before the game with 6 tents, full bar, TVs and food galore. It was a day to remember.

Grace Shebuski - Baptism

Grace Ellen Shebuski was baptized on Jan 9th, 2011 - The day of Jesus's Baptism.

John the Baptist was God's appointed messenger. Before Jesus began his ministry, John had been announcing to the people throughout the regions of Jerusalem and Judea to prepare for the coming Messiah. He was calling to them to repent, turn from their sins, and to be baptized. He was pointing the way to Jesus. Then, all of a sudden, Jesus appeared on the scene. Jesus came to John to be baptized, but John told him, "I need to be baptized by you." John himself wondered why Jesus asked to be baptized.

So Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." John then consented and baptized Jesus. As Jesus came up out of the water, heaven opened, and the Spirit of God, like a dove, descended upon him. Witnesses to the baptism heard a voice from heaven saying, "This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Uncle Bob, Aunt Jenny, and Granny took 'smiley' Kaela to the Shedd Acquarium that weeked.

Down Syndrom Walk for Jayden - Oct 2010

In October we did a walk for Down Syndrom's Awareness. A very good girlfriend of mine has a beautiful little boy with Downs. It was so great to be able to be a part of the walk and spend time with friends and family.

One Year Anniversary - September 2010

For our one year anniversary, we were able to have some alone time at our brother's cottage in MI. During our MI trip, we were able to see the Michigan Wolverines cream the Connecticut Huskies 30 to 10 with our friends Justin and Tracy.

And of course, there was the top of our cake which we tasted a year after wedded-bliss. :)

Jen's 30th Birthday

This post is late and was skipped.

For my 30th Birthday, I went to a Sushi restaurant in Chicago we've been going to for the past 5 years on my birthday - Butterfly. It was quite yummy as always. My present from Bob was a surprise trip to Puerto Nuevo, just north of Puerto Vallarta. This trip was extremely relaxing to the point we hardly did anything outside of reading our books, laying under a cabana, and sipped on drinks.
